Shopkick celebrates 10 years!

This August we are celebrating 10 years of Shopkick, and all of the milestones we’ve hit this past decade.

When Shopkick was founded, brands and retailers were just beginning to understand how mobile could be used to provide a digital layer over the physical world—where nearly all purchase transactions occurred. 

As consumers increasingly turned to mobile throughout the purchase journey, we empowered our partners to engage and reward customers wherever, and however, they chose to shop. What started as a solution to dwindling foot traffic expanded to become a full-funnel engagement platform for both retailers and CPG brands looking to bridge the gap between digital and physical shopping.

Throughout the last decade, Shopkick has become an increasingly engaging shopping rewards platform, helping top retailers and brands drive meaningful connections with shoppers whether they’re at home, on the go, or in-store. 

Shopkick has driven over 85 million store visits at top retailers across the nation including Best Buy, TJ Maxx, Carter’s, Ulta and more. Shopkick users have earned over 29 billion kicks and have redeemed $116.5 million in rewards by shopping with their favorite retailers, and by engaging with products from our wide range of CPG partners including Unilever, Kraft-Heinz, General Mills, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, and more. We’re so grateful to all of the amazing brands and retailers that have partnered with us over the last 10 years.
